Conservative leadership candidates dance to different beats as musical tastes reveal themselves

The last two candidates vying to be the next Prime Minister have come to blows over their proposals - but that is not the only point on which they differ.

Details on tastes Liz Truss' musicals have emerged, and it looks like she and her Tory leadership contender Rishi Sunak are dancing to a very different beat.

The Foreign Secretary has revealed that she was a fan of 1980s music, with Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance With Somebody her go-to karaoke song.

The 46-year-old told GB News "I think maybe the one thing people don't know about me is that I like 80s music and I like karaoke.

"I like also listen to music. My favorite song is "I Wanna Dance (With Somebody)" by Whitney Houston."
