Tottenham 'demanding no less than €20m' to be outcast with interested Serie A club

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur are 'asking no less than 20 million euros' for their midfielder Giovani Lo Celso this summer.

The Argentina international joined Spurs ahead of the 2019/20 campaign on a first loan spell from Real Betis. They signed him permanently later that season for around £27million.

Lo Celso fell down the pecking order last season after the arrival of Antonio Conte. He spent the end of last season on loan in La Liga with Villarreal.

In May, it was reported that Tottenham were ready to let Lo Celso leave permanently this summer.

Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini reports that Serie A side Fiorentina are interested in Lo Celso:

"It's a name Fiorentina love. Tottenham are asking for no less than 20 million euros so far," Ceccarini said (quotes via Fiorentina News).

"But at the end of the transfer market, a window could open for a loan with the right to buy."

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough boss Chris Wilder is happy the Championship club have finally agreed a deal to sell Djed Spence to Tottenham:

"It's a boost for everyone," Wilder told Teeside Live. “We've talked about it way too much, but these deals just don't happen overnight. It's a big number for a player who hasn't played for us. He had a fabulous season [at Nottingham Forest], everyone knows that.

"Tottenham was the only show in town so they could get out, which they did. We needed to get out, which we did. Eventually a deal was done. Tottenham will feel they have a really good deal for a young player, we think we have plenty to get the money we have for a player who has barely played for the first team here.

"Forest didn't come for him, nobody else came for him, Tottenham was the only show in town. So that made it quite difficult for Neil [Bausor] and Steve [Gibson] to get the right number, but they did and they're comfortable with it. As far as I'm concerned, it's gone, I don't need to talk about it again and we're moving on."< /p>
