Manchester United have officially confirmed the signing of Brazilian winger Antony for a transfer fee of around £85.4million.

An agreement was reached with Ajax earlier this week, with the player signing a long-term contract until the summer of 2027.

"Playing under Erik ten Hag at Ajax was perfect for me and my development," Antony told United's official website.

"His style of football and coaching brings out the best in me, and I am excited by what he has told me about his plans and ambitions at Manchester.

"My time at Ajax has been fantastic and I will always be grateful for the trust they have placed in me, but now I'm ready for the next challenge, and I can't wait to join my new team-mates and play my contributed to the success of Manchester United."
