Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez hasn't 'given up hope' of signing Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva but admits it will be 'difficult'.

Barca have been heavily linked with Bernardo this summer, but hopes have been pinned on player sales, in particular Frenkie de Jong's potential £72m move to Manchester United.

However, De Jong fought to stay at the Nou Camp, which all but ended Xavi's Bernardo dream.
