A new travel guide reveals a wilder way to immerse yourself in Croatia's stunning landscapes and of Slovenia.

Wild Swimming Croatia & Slovenia dives deep into the country's wild and secluded spots for swimming, from dreamy coves on car-free islands to crystal-clear crystal clear lakes and secret plunge pools at the bottom of aquamarine canyon waterfalls.

This aquatic journey includes 120 locations in total, with GPS coordinates listed for each one. The book, which is illustrated with lavish photography, aims to be the "perfect guide" for everyone, from "families on vacation to explorers looking for their next adventure".

The author, Hansjorg Ransmayr - lifeguard, competitive swimmer, mountain guide and whitewater canoeist - writes in the introduction: "From the idyllic to the adventurous, from freshwater to brackish and salt water, there is a fabulous range of swimming possibilities.
