Tyson Fury has a three-fight plan that doesn't include Anthony Joshua - EXCLUSIVE

Frank Warren has confirmed Tyson Fury's next three opponents in a list that doesn't include Anthony Joshua. The Gypsy King is currently in negotiations to face Derek Chisora for the third time on December 3 and will continue with a high-profile scrap against Oleksandr Usyk and Joe Joyce.

Fury was set to get the long-awaited grudge match with Joshua on the same date as his trilogy proposal with Del Boy, however, communication plummeted after weeks of back and forth. Eddie Hearn blamed Frank's son George for not responding while the Queensbury manager claimed Hearn's communication "lacked substance".

Discussing the possibility of the all-British showdown happening, Warren told Express Sport: "I don't see where it goes now, I spoke to Tyson yesterday and he was talking about Joyce next year, having this fight with Chisora, hoping to unify the titles [against Oleksandr Usyk] and then fight Joe Joyce for that to be his next year for him, right?

"That's what Tyson was talking about, so we'll see where we go with that...whatever he chooses to do, I'll support him, I consider my relationship with him a bit special and I only want the best for him."

When Fury and Chisora fought previously in 2011 and 2014, The Gypsy King raised their hands both times. In their last fight, he became just the second man to stop the enduring veteran via a tenth-round retirement victory.

Since then, Fury has held every major sanctioning belt as well as the Ring Magazine title, while Chisora has had a mixed streak with multiple losses to world-class opposition. Although not necessarily the fight the British public would have wanted, Warren thinks it will be a "good benchmark" for Fury ahead of the undisputed fight with Usyk given the problems Chisora caused the Ukrainian during their clash in 2020.

"That's where we are with the fight, we're still trying to get it done because of all the time we lost on the other [Anthony Joshua] fight. We want to get him out before the end of the year so he can have the jackpot in February with Usyk.

"If you look at the BoxRec ratings, Chisora is the highest challenger available...they've had a few words over the past few months and I think Fury makes a very valid point, Chisora gave to Usyk a very tough fight, so he will be a good criterion.”
