US Open fans left disgusted as 16-year-old star's dad and coach grab her bum and kiss her on the lips

Tennis fans around the world have been stunned by images of teenage star Sara Bejlek celebrating with her coaches after her US Open qualifying victory. The video showed Bejlek getting closer to a pair of men identified as her father and her coach as she celebrated her monumental win over Heather Watson.

The Czech teenager is set to make her Grand Slam debut at the Flushing Meadows tournament after making it through the qualifying rounds in New York. She secured her spot in the US Open main draw by fighting back to win 3-6 6-4 7-5 over Brit Watson.

However, his success was somewhat overshadowed by his team's celebrations following their stunning three-set victory. In a video that has been circulating on social media, Bejlek shakes hands with Watson and the chair umpire before walking towards his team.

The first man - who has been identified as her father - appears to kiss her on the mouth and pat her on the back. She then walks over to another man, her trainer, who also pats her buttocks.

Fans took to Twitter to express their frustration with the clip. Jennifer Bishop (@jbishop_tennis) wrote: “That. East. Not. Alright."

Drive Cruzado (@DriveCruzado) added: "ASHAMED!!! Sara Bejlek is only 16. The situation is really unfortunate."

However, not everyone who reacted on social media condemned the act. Some users pointed out that the incident only seems disturbing to those with a western perspective due to cultural differences.
