Voters have warned they think nothing is working in Britain anymore as they give Labor a huge lead in the polls.

Rishi Sunak is criticized for his inability to stop the strikes that hit the public sector by getting around the table with the unions.

A majority of the public (57%) said they agreed with the statement that nothing works in Britain anymore.

The survey, conducted for GB News by People Polling, found voters believed Keir Starmer would handle walkouts better.

More than a fifth (22%) said the Labor leader would be best at handling strikes, with just 14% choosing Mr Sunak. Almost two-thirds (64%) answered neither.

"While Starmer is ahead of Sunak, the real story here is the large number of voters who simply answer 'none of them' when asked who they think can best handle strikes “, he added.

Mr. Starmer had built up a significant 24 percentage point lead in the polls before Christmas. If there were an election, 46% now say they would support Labour, ahead of the Conservatives who have fallen to 22%.

The Liberal Democrats are at 8%, the Greens at 6% and the Reformers at 8%.
