Rishi Sunak will be absent from the bedroom as he attends the funeral of former Speaker Betty Boothroyd, who died last month.

Labour Deputy Leader Angela Rayner will ask the questions in place of Sir Keir Starmer, who is also attending the funeral.

Ahead of his PMQ appearance, Mr Raab took part in several TV interviews on Wednesday morning, where he discussed the government's potential plans to house migrants arriving in the UK via small boats in ferries and barges as well as disused military bases.

"We will be looking at the full range of options, low cost accommodation, old army barracks and - the where appropriate - as has been used elsewhere in Europe, and I believe in Scotland as well ent , ships, if they can be used in a safe and responsible way,” he told BBC Breakfast.
