Weekend Max Mara collaborates with Lily Aldridge on the Signature collection

FROM LILY WITH LOVE: Weekend Max Mara unveiled his new Signature collection this season in collaboration with Lily Aldridge .

Titled "From Lily With Love", it includes chic and easy summer pieces, and it It is obvious to meet Aldridge in Milan that she had fun designing this playful, but also very personal collection, in a nod to her father, the English illustrator Alan Aldridge.

"It always looked cool and timeless," she said while revisiting its three-piece, denim-on-denim suits, bringing bright, cheerful colors and patterns to the collection.

Los Angeles native Aldridge added an artsy, whimsical vibe and 70s hippie, boho-sensitivity with her Californian heritage.

The prints, she says, reflect her "rock 'n' roll" side. After all, her husband is Caleb Followill, the frontman of the rock band Kings of Leon.

Floating and romantic dresses were presented either in finely decorated openwork cotton or in vaporous textures. There were cute tops and blouses with puffy sleeves which contributed to the feminine but easy line.

A flowing silk twill pajama set has been printed with floral designs by Alan Aldridge.< /p>

Aldridge also showed off a range of accessories, ranging from a new version of the signature Pasticcino bag from the brand has a hat, silk scarves and shoes.
