Wembley will host the England-Brazil Women's Finalissima in 2023

October 26 - Wembley will host next year's second Finalissima - the newly created match between UEFA domestic champions and Conmebol - but this time it will be the women's edition.

England will face Brazil in London on April 6, 2023. Tickets go on sale October 31. Ticket prices start at £7.50 for children aged 16 or under and £15 for adults

This will be the first edition of the UEFA-Conmebol Women's Finalissima. Wembley hosted the first men's Finalissima between EURO 2020 winners Italy and Conmebol Copa América champions Argentina in front of a sold-out crowd at Wembley in July. Argentina won 3-0 thanks to a masterclass from Lionel Messi.

The Women's Finalissima continues a series of major women's international matches in London with England. In July, England beat Germany to win the Women's Euro and last month beat world champions USA in both games in front of sold-out crowds.

The game against Brazil takes place three months before the start of the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia/New Zealand.

The now long-standing cooperation between UEFA and Conmebol has grown in the number of inter-confederate competition initiatives at age group level and in other football disciplines.

The 2022 Under-20 Intercontinental Cup saw UEFA Youth League winners S.L. Benfica defeat Uruguayan Club Atlético Peñarol at the Estadio Centenario in August in Montevideo, Uruguay.

In September, 2018 and 2022 UEFA Futsal EURO winners Portugal and seven-time Futsal EURO winners Spain played one final tournament with Argentina, winners of the CONMEBOL Copa América de Futsal 2022, and the runners- up to Paraguay in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Portugal won the tournament.
