WhatsApp avatars now available

Meta, formerly known as Facebook, today announced a new feature that it has rolled out to its WhatsApp messaging app in the form of WhatsApp avatars. Created to help you express yourself, you can now use WhatsApp avatars in billions of different combinations with outfits, hairstyles, facial features and more.

"Sending an avatar is a quick and fun way to share feelings with friends and family. It can also be a great way to portray yourself without using your real photo in order to feel more private.”

“Your avatar is a digital version of yourself that can be created from billions of combinations of hairstyles, facial features and various outfits. On WhatsApp, you can now use your personalized avatar as profile picture or choose from 36 personalized stickers reflecting many different emotions and actions."
