Whitney Houston Estate disappointed by Golden Globes death joke

This year's Golden Globes host Jerrod Carmichael was shocked when he mentioned Whitney Houston's death during the show, which also shocked the estate.
Pat Houston - longtime manager and sister-in-law of Whitney - told TMZ through a rep... "The Whitney Houston Estate is disappointed with the joke and felt it was bad taste." Pat is the sole executor of the estate, BTW...so she controls everything about Whitney.
NBCAs to whether the Carmichael joke was alerted to anyone connected to Whitney prior to Tuesday's airing – directly briefed sources tell us no one was notified.
It's unclear if anyone at NBC knew JC was going to mention Whitney during his hosting gig - at the time, his remark seemed off the cuff...and it very well could. p>
