Labour leader Keir Starmer is among MPs wearing sheaves of wheat on their lapels in the House of Commons in PMQs.

Despite the Memories of Theresa May's naughtiest confessions, the decorations were in fact intended to support Back British Farming Day, which this year falls on September 13.

Organized by the National Farmers' Union for England and Wales (NFU), the event aims to celebrate Britain's agricultural sector and encourage politicians to ensure it is prioritized in future trade deals.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak did not carry a wreath .

At PMQS, Sir Keir Starmer asked the Prime Minister why the terrorist suspect who escaped from prison was not detained in a Category A prison.

Speaking during Prime Minister's Questions, the Labor leader said: “I pay tribute to the police who found the terrorist suspect who escaped from prison. Wandsworth Prison last week.

“Although he was charged with terrorism and was a flight risk, he was not detained in a Category A prison. Why not ?

Rishi Sunak responded: “I would like to thank the police and their partners for their efforts to find and arrest Daniel Khalife. There is now an ongoing legal process which must be allowed to run its course.

“I would like to reassure the public that although these cases are extremely rare, the Justice Secretary has launched an investigation internal investigation into how this could happen as well as an independent investigation into the incident so that we can learn from this matter and ensure that it never happens again.
