An Iranian movie star has publicly shown her bruised and battered face after being summoned by Iranian security forces and detained for several days.

Pantea Bahram, known as one of Iran's most famous actresses, shared her bruised face with her 685,000 Instagram followers on October 12.

The photo shows the 52-year-old actress with a livid right black eye and a painful bruise and abrasion above her lip.

The photo that was his profile picture was changed again a few hours later, according to local media.

An Instagram post by the star the day after Mahsa Amini, 22, died, showed a drawing of the Grim Reaper leaning on an Iranian police car.

After being summoned by Iranian security forces, Pantea allegedly took to Instagram and posted a message saying, "Without a moment's hesitation, without a moment's pause, not with the people, but a particle among my people."< /p>

In the post, she reportedly also advertised a non-profit legal association that provides free advice to people summoned by the authorities.

The post included the tagline “giving information on social media is not a crime”.

It has been reported that other Iranian artists have had their passports confiscated. This comes as the regime seeks to increase pressure on the country's public figures.
