His daughter Lisa died during childbirth, Emma survived only a few hours and her son Stuart lived less than a day.

Judy was so traumatized that she couldn't attend Stuart's funeral, leaving her husband Graham to go alone.

It took 11 years before she could bring herself to visit the grave.

Judy said, "It was such a horrible thing to experience, it changed our lives forever.

"I found it very difficult to sort out the grave.

"But after 40 years...it had to happen."

Emma and Stuart are buried in London Road Cemetery in Coventry, but Lisa's remains were cremated after she was born at just 23 weeks.

Former nurse Judy was not allowed to see her.

Fearing she might never be a mom, Judy founded Baby Lifeline to save the lives of other babies.

The charity started by raising £7,000 for an incubator at their local hospital.

He has now raised over £25million, purchased equipment for 250 hospitals, trained 3,500 NHS staff a year, funded research and worked to improve maternity safety.
