'Wonka' Director Praises Timothée Chalamet's Singing Voice, Compares Him to Bing Crosby

Paul King, director of Wonka, teases the film and that of Timothée Chalamet a singing voice. The filmmaker compared Chalamet to Bing Crosby.

"[Chalamet] has a beautiful singing voice," King said in an interview withTotal Film. “The person it reminded me of was Bing Crosby. Although the film features musical numbers, King does not want to classify the film as a musical saying, “The Oompa Loompas sing a lot in the book and Dahl always uses poetry.
