Yes, 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' deserves its 7 Oscars

Are we in an alternate multiverse? A film where the best film of the year wins the award for best film? ! No, it's reality - the world we're all a part of, and heck yes, it really happened. Last night at the Oscars, the Academy voted entirely in favor of The Daniels' multiverse sci-fi show Everything, Everywhere, All Together, earning him a total of 7 Oscars at the course of the evening. It won Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Editing, and three of the acting awards. I love that movie! It was my #1 of 2022 (here's my full Top 10) and I went to see EEAAO (as moviegoers affectionately call it) four times at the cinema last summer, but I don't m didn't expect it to keep winning Oscars. That's why it's such a nice surprise! The amount of petty hate I've seen is ridiculous; the plaintiffs really come in with bullshit claiming it's one of the worst BP earners of all time.
