Zara gets the Steven Meisel treatment with new collection

Steven Meisel is an enigma to many. He is above all a fashion god, since he is one of the best photographers in the sector with a career spanning more than 30 years. Given that he's worked with virtually every publication, designer, and brand imaginable, you've probably seen his work, even if you don't know him. He is responsible for ushering in a new era of fashion imagery, one that is, yes, practically flawless and seductive, but also decidedly nostalgic and intimate. Meisel loves the 60s, especially Swinging Sixties London, and music. However, if you don't know what it looks like, you would be forgiven.

Fortunately, even Meisel's very few public photos offer a glimpse into his personal style, which he relied heavily on to create the nearly 50 pieces in his collection with the street fashion mogul. Her wardrobe is (unsurprisingly) all black, a familiar palette for those working in the industry and particularly on film sets, where the monochrome look is preferred. His signature headband was also reworked for the collaboration, alongside more special pieces like a croc-embossed jacket and a simple biker style that both spoke to his punk leanings (anyone remember his 1992 editorial that cemented status in the company)?
