Spend the day with me in Los Angeles. From the Beverly Hills Hotel to Paris Hilton’s pink tennis court, this is what a typical work day looks like when I travel.
Arrival at the Beverly Hills Hotel
The attention to detail is beyond. Even the notepad and pen in each piece are iconic.
I immediately unpack my skincare and clothes. In the bathroom, I have a few facial towels and configure my products to be streamlined.
Essential parts: Khaite boots, collared sweater, jacket, wide pants, this blazer.
Polo Lounge for drinks, San Vincente Bungalows for dinner.
7 a.m.
Wake up and hydrate immediately with Beauty saltdry brush, shower, then I ice cream roll and make a facial massage. Right now I like to use this serum and my hands.
The kids are with us, so I meditate and plan my day on paper as best I can.
I’ll have a coffee while @karinamorxoxo I put on makeup and @hayleyheckmann works its magic on my hair.
9 a.m.
Breakfast with the children. Poached eggs (no oil), kiwis, toasted sourdough and mint tea for me. Lots of coloring and crafts.
10 hours
We’re heading to the Dear Media studio for a day of recordings. I’m excited to share the incredible conversations we had. Interesting stories, tangible lessons.
We batch the whole day to keep our momentum going once we’re in podcast mode. Michael and I call this “pushes” and that means we go hard when we’re in LA or New York.
1 p.m.
Lunch (Sugarfish with a Sapporo light), hydrate, meet the Los Angeles team.
2:00 p.m.
Head to Paris Hilton for an incredible check-in. If you have already listenedyou know it was hot. She signed the new ice cream roller and it is proudly displayed on my office shelf.
6 p.m.
Dinner at the Polo Lounge. Get the Polo burger wrapped in lettuce with extra jalapeños, trust me.
9 p.m.
Get in a hot shower, put on new monogram silk pajamasapply mouth tape. Read. Good night.
During this trip, we also did a photo shoot for the new cover of the show. I’m so excited for you to see it in a few weeks. We also took new photos for the product range which will be available soon too.
