Chase Stokes Gets ‘Moving Forward’ Tattoo Amid Split From Kelsea Ballerini

Chase Stokes just added some fresh ink to his tattoo collection…and the meaning of his latest piece suggests he’s moving on after his recent split from Kelsea Balleriniaccording to his tattoo artist.

Celebrity Tattoo Artist Winter Stone — the man behind the scripted piece — tells us that Chase recently stopped by his studio to catch up and get a tattoo…although there was only one the actor wanted to share publicly.

The “Outer Banks” star’s sleek tattoo reads “by our fruits they will judge us” — a line inspired by a Bible verse — and is strategically placed on her back. We’re told that Chase chose this phrase to remind himself that he’s “moving on” in life. According to Winterstone, Chase said he felt good and knew where things stood currently.

It’s worth noting…the artist tells us the two never discussed Chase. bursting with Kelsea Ballerini throughout the date…suggesting that Chase may already be putting the past behind him with a little help from some new writing.

Winterstone says the two have been friends for years and Chase simply reached out to catch up and get some new ink. The actor got tattoos several times during the visit and the artist says each piece has personal meaning.
