As I plugged in SPLINTER, I was sure it would be the spangram, since it’s unusual for words to span up and down, but instead it was BREAKDOWN.
The other unusual thing in today’s search was the number of non-gaming words that qualified for the theme – I found three, but I’m sure there are more.
