Revealing what fans can expect from Samurai Outriders, Arc System Works producer Takeshi Yamanaka shared the following:
“The Samurai Outriders are a group of dark heroes. As you might expect, they don’t start out as a cohesive unit…in fact, they are quite the opposite. As they face threats to the world, the way each of them – and the team as a whole – grows and evolves is something you can expect to experience in Episode mode.”
At the same time, the developer also revealed the addition of a new stage at the game’s launch, with Asgard bringing the rainbow to the proverbial party. It appears as a battle scene consisting of five areas: the Observatory, Bifrost Bridge, Throne Room, Treasure Chest, and Yggdrasil, the World Tree.
