Kim Kardashian Doesn’t Care About Man’s Complaints About Her $128,000 Demand

Kim Kardashian is not bothered by a man’s claims that he will be financially ruined if he is forced to pay him a six-figure sum in court, TMZ has learned.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Kim made fun of Ivan Cantoupleads not to be forced to pay $128,000 in legal fees she asked after his lawsuit was dismissed.

Ivan sued Kim for emotional distress after she posted her photo and I took him for someone condemned to death.

Kim quickly deleted the photo after realizing she had posted a photo of Ivan, who has the same name as the alleged murderer for whom Kim was advocating not to be executed. She denied doing anything wrong. A judge sided with Kim and rejected all requests.

After the victory, Kim asked the court to order Ivan to pay $128,000 in legal fees she had accrued fighting the lawsuit. As TMZ first reported, Ivan begged the court not to make him pay, claiming he was a father who had no money to pay Kim’s bill.

Ivan pointed out that Kim is a billionaire who doesn’t actually need the money.

Kim doesn’t see it that way. She said Ivan’s lawsuit was “clearly without merit” and aimed to thwart his constitutional right to speak out on criminal justice reform issues.

“He undoubtedly thought he could force a payment based on his fame and wealth,” his lawyer added. “But his bet failed and he now refuses to accept the consequences of his actions.”

She said Ivan presented no valid argument for not having to pay the legal bill. His lawyers mocked his appeals for sympathy and his unsubstantiated allegations of inability to pay.

Kim said Ivan should bear his legal fees and disagreed with him that he shouldn’t pay just because he claims to lack financial means and sued someone who is financially successful. She said the fees paid to her would not be a “windfall” but rather would reimburse her for the pain of having to deal with her baseless lawsuit.
