At 94 years old, Kay McConaughey, better known as “MaMac”, officially enters the spotlight, and according to Matthew McConaughey And Camila Alves McConaugheyshe may just be the most entertaining member of the family. Just before Mother’s Day, the couple unveiled a brand new campaign for their tequila brand, Pantalones Organic Tequila, featuring MaMac as the self-proclaimed “Most Interesting Mom in the World.”
MaMac brings unfiltered energy to new campaign

The campaign videos fully leverage MaMac’s larger-than-life personality. In the campaign, viewers can expect stories involving her husband’s “beast,” his unapologetic appreciation for good tequila, and the kind of unpredictable one-liners that seem impossible to write.
The ads are part of Pantalones Organic Tequila’s ongoing “Official Tequila Of” campaign, which embraces humor, personality and the idea that getting older only makes someone more interesting. And if MaMac’s presence is any indication, the campaign is doubling down on that energy.
MaMac’s signature cocktail takes center stage

Because MaMac apparently never does things by halves, the campaign also features its favorite cocktail: “MaMac’s Manhattan”. The drink is his take on the classic Manhattan, made with Pantalones Organic Extra Añejo tequila, Averna Amaro, orange bitters and finished with a splash of orange.
The cocktail arrives alongside the brand’s recently launched Extra Añejo expression, a limited-edition tequila aged in Texas bourbon barrels. According to the brand, the tequila features notes of agave, toasted oak, dark chocolate and what it describes as “Texas heat,” a nod to McConaughey’s roots. The premium bottle is priced at $99.99.
MaMac’s big campaign moment comes after viral outing with Camila Alves
The campaign comes just days after Matthew McConaughey’s mother was already making headlines for her close bond with stepdaughter Camila Alves McConaughey. While McConaughey built his career through projects like “Dazed and Confused,” “How to Lose a Man in 10 Days,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “True Detective,” the Oscar winner has long made it clear that family remains his top priority.
And judging by Alves’ recent Instagram post, this close-knit family dynamic extends far beyond Matthew himself. In the post, Alves shared a smiling selfie alongside MaMac, who she affectionately called her “sexy 94-year-old date,” while also revealing that her mother-in-law is one of her best friends. “We make a pretty good combo! » Alves wrote.
Matthew and Camila McConaughey continue to grow pants

Since launching Pantalones Organic Tequila, Matthew and Camila have continued to grow the brand internationally, with bottles now available in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and parts of Asia.
“The world doesn’t need another celebrity tequila, but tequila could definitely use a kick in the pants. Pantalones Organic Tequila is the best thing we’ve done with our pants on,” Matthew and Camila McConaughey said in a statement. “We said let’s do it together and let’s face it.”
Part of what made Pantalones Organic Tequila stand out is its completely unserious and unapologetic marketing campaign. “Obviously starting a business relationship between a couple and having a romantic relationship can disrupt things,” Matthew said. “But look at our humor with our campaign, the whole no-pants thing that doesn’t just work with me, or if I’m with a famous woman. Because Camila and I are married and we have kids, there’s a kind of innocence to that.”
Since the brand’s launch, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves McConaughey have leaned heavily into this bold concept, appearing in a series of ads and social media videos without pants while going about their daily activities.
Pantalones co-founder praises Camila Alves’ push for organic tequila

The team behind Pantalones Organic Tequila also made it clear that the brand’s commitment to organic ingredients was not accidental, and that much of that vision came directly from Camila Alves McConaughey herself.
“I’m very happy that Camila, in particular, insisted that the tequila be organic,” said Andrew Chrisomalis, co-founder of Pantalones. “There have been other types of organizations that have tried to codify tequila, like the Additive Free Alliance. And all of that was disbanded by [Mexcian regulatory agency] the CRT. The good news is that we are 100% USDA Certified Organic, which the CRT recognizes. This is the highest standard for clean tequila, free from pesticides, herbicides, fungicides.
Tequila currently sells for about $39.99 to $49.99, depending on variety, and is available through retailers such as Walmart, Total Wine & More, Publix and ReserveBar.
