Blake Lively was questioned by the newspaperis Kjersti Flaa after her and Justin Baldoni settled their long-running legal battle last week.
Flaa claimed the actress “bullied” and “publicly humiliated” her while she was drawn into the ugly legal battle between the co-stars, but then tried to stop her from testifying in court.
The journalist also attacked Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds for “manipulating” the Internet after her appearance at the Met Gala on the same day she settled her lawsuit.

Flaa attacked Blake Lively following her out-of-court settlement with Justin Baldoni because it essentially means she won’t be able to testify in their case.
The Norwegian journalist found herself embroiled in the legal feud after sharing an old interview clip she had with Lively, in which the actress made remarks about her “bump” because she was congratulating her on her pregnancy at the time.
Flaa didn’t expect the star’s stunt at the time and would later reveal she couldn’t conceive. However, the video went viral, leading many people to accuse Lively of being “mean” and “rude.”
This led to speculation that she may have re-shared the old clip as part of a Baldoni “smear campaign”, with Lively attempting to subpoena Google for information on Flaa’s account.
Baldoni’s team eventually invited her to testify on the actor’s behalf, but now that the two stars have settled, it means she won’t need to, which she considers painful given everything she’s been through.
“I was not surprised by [Lively objecting to me testifying]it’s completely logical that they don’t want me [to testify]”, Flaa told the Daily Mail. “They accused [Justin’s production studio’s team] to amplify the video and use it to smear it, and I intended to tell the truth about what really happened. I have nothing to do with the smear campaign.

The journalist claimed her testimony would have been a devastating blow to Lively’s case because she could have “proved the opposite of what she was trying to prove” through video analysis.
“I was the only person who had access to the analytics and saw what actually happened to that video. I could see that no one had amplified that video. YouTube shows you where all the traffic is coming from. I was going to reveal a lot of things that I’m sure they weren’t happy about,” Flaa noted.
She also accused Lively of being a “bully” and publicly humiliating her, before saying she was “disappointed” that she couldn’t testify now that they’ve settled.
“I was looking forward to it. I was looking forward to telling my side of the story and supporting what I very strongly believe to be the truth here,” she said.

Last month, Lively’s case took a shocking turn after Judge Lewis Liman dismissed 10 of 13 complaints she had filed against Baldoni, including accusations of sexual harassment and defamation.
At the time, she claimed she was heading to court and would attempt to prove the remaining charges when their trial began, which was supposed to take place on Monday, May 18.
But as she settles down, Flaa thinks she was the one who accepted defeat, because things already seemed fragile for her.
“She knew her case was weak. I think everyone advised her to let it go,” the journalist suggested. “It would have been so humiliating for her to lose, and you should never be seen as a liar in front of a jury.”
After announcing her settlement, Lively made an appearance at the 2026 Met Gala the same day, but Flaa noted that it was a desperate attempt by the “delusional” Lively to change the narrative about her.

Flaa told the outlet that it was “mind-blowing” that she would even consider doing something like that, alleging that this is what she and Reynold were trying to do to “manipulate the public” by flooding the internet with stories that were “friendly and supportive of their narrative.”
“The audacity and courage she had to stand there in front of all these people and say, ‘Hey, look at me in this dress.’ I was shocked that she did that. I think that says a lot about her,” she noted. “In her reality, she still can’t believe people don’t like her. That’s why she went to the Met Gala.”
Flaa added, “For her, this is an orchestrated smear campaign against her, and she believes that people still love her. It’s so delusional. She really, truly believes that…that’s what’s tragic about all of this. In her wildest imagination, she can’t imagine that people don’t love her.”

Amid her long-running legal battle with the actor, reports emerged suggesting Lively has become unpopular in several Hollywood circles, with one Disney executive claiming no one would work with her again.
Several branding and public relations experts also explained that the lawsuit may have damaged her public image, particularly because many people already think she exudes “mean girl” energy.
However, Flaa suggests that all hope is not yet lost if the “Another Simple Favor” actress keeps a low profile for a while.
“My advice would be to lay low for a few years if she wants to have a chance of coming back and doing something in Hollywood,” Flaa said. “I think in Hollywood it’s all about money. What if [a movie studio] thinks she can make money with a project, they will consider working with her.
“But who wants to work with her now? Maybe a studio would take the risk, but what kind of director wants to work with her? Who wants to expose themselves to that? She’s toxic, and right now, the public is not ready to take her back,” she added.
