Although Preston Pippen came from a reality TV family, her mother, Larsa Pippenstill had to give him some advice for living life in front of the cameras.
Preston is one of the stars of Netflix’s new reality show, “Calabasas Confidential“, and inside, the son of NBA legend Scottie Pippen opens up about his personal life as the offspring of famous parents.
In later episodes, Preston also becomes closer to one of his co-stars, Alexie Epstein.
Larsa Pippen Gave Advice to Her Son, Preston, Before Filming Netflix’s ‘Calabasas Confidential’

Speaking with E! News, Preston said his mother, “The Real Housewives of Miami” alumna Larsa, told him to be his authentic self while filming the show.
Plus, Larsa, who has had her share of dramatic on-camera feuds, gave her son another piece of advice on how to deal with his co-stars.
“Don’t really trust anyone, because even though we’re all friends, once you’re on camera, people will behave differently,” Preston said.
Preston wasn’t afraid to talk about his life as the son of Larsa and Scottie Pippen

On the show, Preston talks about being the product of divorced parents. (Larsa and Scottie separated in 2018 and divorced in 2021.)
However, Preston wasn’t afraid to talk about his life, telling the outlet that he “kind of knew what I signed up for.”
That doesn’t mean signing on the dotted line was easy for him, though. He revealed that he wondered if the series was worth revisiting this difficult time in his life.
It was clearly, as he said, “I’m a big boy now.”
Preston Pippen said his friends at school teased him about his mother’s alleged affair with Future

According to a previous report from The Blast, on the show, Preston spoke about his mother’s alleged affair with rapper Future and how it affected him.
“It was everywhere. You would think, at that age, when you go to school, that it’s safe and you avoid the drama at home,” he said. “People who I thought were my friends were making jokes, and there’s already so much noise in the house.”
He shared that people at his school made fun of him in the headlines, saying, “The kids at school, like my friends, were playing music by a rapper that my mom was into at the time, and it was just shit.”
While Larsa initially denied any connection to Future, she later confirmed that the pair had a “respectable relationship.”
“It wasn’t like…it was just like we were friends and we needed each other in that moment. And that was basically it,” she said. “I think people take advantage of it more. It’s just a better conversation for people to say, oh, she cheated on him, she this, she that. It was none of those things. Scottie didn’t even live at home with me.”
Brandi Glanville Opens Up About Her Son’s Sex Life on ‘Calabasas Confidential’

In another episode, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Brandi Glanville made an unexpected confession about her son’s sex life.
Speaking to his son, Mason Cibrian, Glanville praised the youngster’s girlfriend, Sarah Dower, revealing how much she loves him.
As the conversation progressed, Glanville told the story of the moment she learned her son was no longer a virgin. “I remember realizing he wasn’t a virgin when I walked past his room and heard a spanking,” she said on camera.
“I was like, ‘F–k my life, my son’s not a virgin anymore,'” she said, adding, “I think he was 15 or 16, and I was crying. I was like, ‘I’m so uncomfortable right now. But at least he’s at least spanking. He’s got some movement.'”
Kandi Burruss also gave her daughter advice

Larsa isn’t the only Bravo veteran giving her kids advice on navigating reality TV. According to The Blast, Kandi Burruss told her daughter, Riley Burruss, to also be herself on Bravo’s “Next Gen NYC.”
She also reminded Riley of the importance of being honest. “I just told him not to be there [and] say anything you won’t support. You have to make sure you stay honest on this show,” Kandi said. “And even if you say something they don’t like, own it and keep doing it.”
“Don’t let them rewind no tapes on you like they do [with] people in the shows. We don’t do that,” Kandi joked.
