LAPD Fatally shoots a dog

The LAPD shot and killed a 2-year-old dog who was doing nothing wrong…at least according to its owner.
Police were responding to a call Saturday from a resident who wanted them to check on a woman who was screaming in a Canoga Park condominium. When the police arrived, they shot the woman’s dog, Jamesonclaiming that he had rushed at the police.

But its owner, Marie-Marseillesays that’s not what happened. She told FOX 11… “Jameson wasn’t showing his teeth. He wasn’t growling. He wasn’t aggressive. He wasn’t barking. He was just moving toward the officer.”
The emotional aftermath video shows Marie crying over the dog’s body as about 10 officers move by.
At one point, a neighbor yelled at them… “What is the goal of all of you? Another clapped and said sarcastically… “Hey, good job. This is what we pay for. Amazing. Amazing. Good job, guys.”
Moments before the cops killed her dog, Marie had taken a photo of him wearing a New York Knicks jersey.
The neighbor who called 911 said ABC7 They thought the woman was in trouble, but she was just celebrating the Knicks win. They told the outlet they felt guilty for calling the cops.

It’s another bad image for LA County cops…last week the Pasadena Police Department went viral after posting a video of one of their cops accidentally shoot another officer in an alleged “ruckus” incident.
