IT‘s entourage stepped up security at the BET Awards…and the heated confrontation was caught on camera.
Watch the footage from before Sunday’s awards show at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles…both parties hurl expletives before one man is pushed away…and tempers flare as TI gets a front row seat to all the action.

A security guard challenges TI’s entourage… “What do you want to do?” before adding… “I’m going to fuck your ass!” He slowly walks away from T.I., as he talks about a gang affiliation and begs for a fight outside.
The confrontation caused a major scene… taking place backstage where other bands were posing for photos.
It’s unclear what exactly sparked this whole confrontation…but, at least from the video, it appears cooler heads prevailed.
We’ve reached out to the TI camp…so far, no response.
