A ridiculously strong XI of Spanish players in the Premier League
The Premier League has hosted some of Spain's best talent over the years and the league still manages to boast a few gems these days.
Spanish icons of the game have made a name for themselves in England over the years such as Cesc Fabregas, Fernando Torres and David Silva, but who are the current stars?
We've scoured the Premier League and compiled the best possible XI of Spanish players currently playing in the league.
GK: David De GeaDavid De Gea has had a turbulent few years at Old Trafford but let's not forget how good he can still be. Having made over 500 appearances for Manchester United is not easy.
Of course, his distribution isn't all that and he can be reluctant to leave his line at times, but he will always go down as one of the great Premier League goalkeepers of all time.
RB: Cesar AzpilicuetaChelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta is another long-time star in the Spanish Premier League. The 33-year-old is still going strong and is just a few appearances away from the 500 club at Stamford Bridge.
Dave, as he is otherwise known, had a great career in England. He won a total of nine trophies with Chelsea, including two league titles and the Champions League.
CB: Aymeric LaporteSince switching allegiance from France to Spain in 2021, Aymeric Laporte hasn't looked back since.
Now a regular starter for the Spanish national team, Laporte has had a career in the Premier League, winning four league titles in the space of just five years.
DC: RodriOkay, we know Rodri technically isn't a centre-half, but Luis Enrique seems to think he is and that's good enough for us. These days, it basically has Sergio Busquets and Carles Puyol in one.
If we're being honest, he's probably the best defensive midfielder in the world and the fact that he's also a very convincing centre-half just rubs him off at this point. He can also hit them.
LB: Marc CucurellaMarc Cucurella has had quite a long career trajectory. From Barcelona to Brighton, with a move to Getafe in the middle, and now he finds himself at Chelsea.
He was part of Todd Boehly's summer spending spree as Chelsea shelled out a fee worth an initial £55m, rising to £62m in add-ons.
CM: Thiago AlcantaraWe still can't believe he didn't make Spain's 26-man World Cup squad.

CM: Marc RocaMarc Roca has proven to be a wise investment for Leeds so far this season. The Spanish midfielder has formed a strong partnership with Tyler Adams in midfield and continues to improve.
The 26-year-old didn't have much of a chance to shine at Bayern Munich as he only made 24 appearances in the two seasons he was at the club.
RM: Adama TraoreAdama Traore isn't everyone's cup of tea, but we absolutely love him. Nobody else in world football looks like the Wolves winger. He is also, without a doubt, one of the best dribblers in the world.
We still can't believe he's not going to the gym.
MAO: Pablo FornalsWest Ham's Pablo Fornals often goes unnoticed, but he was always an orderly player. He has 31 goal contributions in three and a half seasons at West Ham which is not to be sniffed at.
MG: Ayoze PerezLeicester City's Ayoze Perez has struggled to find his footing this season but has been strong in the Premier League in recent seasons.
His most prolific year came in 2018-19 while at Newcastle where he scored 12 league goals and provided a few assists. Hopefully it will return to this level one day.
ST: Rodrigo MorenoIt took him two seasons to settle in properly, but Rodrigo Moreno seems to finally find...
