In the last quarter century of writing about cruises, I have boarded dozens of ocean vessels all over the world and sailed many rivers as well.

Along the way, I've spoken to hundreds of passengers of all ages and walks of life, and I'm confident that there is a cruise out there that will just about suit anyone who likes to go on vacation, even if it's only because the ships are as varied as the hotels.
