After two sons, Nicolas Cage embarks on a "new adventure" with his granddaughter August

Nicolas Cage is a character, and he's played some of our favorite characters to date. He has also played the role of dad for more than 30 years. Cage has two sons, the first of whom was born in 1990, and now he's taken on even a bigger role: grandfather to his four grandchildren. Nicolas' sons grew up on Hollywood movie sets and with famous friends, but they still lead fairly low-key lives, all things considered. Nicolas himself doesn't have an Instagram to share photos of his kids, but we do spot the boys on red carpets and at events.

In 2022, Nicolas' family grew even bigger with the birth of his first daughter with his wife Riko Shibata, whom he married in February 2021. From parenting a girl after raising boys , Nicolas told ET in January: "It's a new adventure." Usually, the "Renfield" star enjoys those exciting times of youth with his youngest. He told the outlet, "Re-living the childhood experience brings it all back and seeing how she discovers new experiences."
