Aston Villa and Tottenham pursue Kessie

According to a recent report from AS, Aston Villa and Tottenham may not need to pay much to sign Franck Kessie.

It's well known that Kessie has been leaving Barcelona for quite some time. The 25-year-old midfielder just can't seem to adapt to life at Camp Nou consistently and because of that, he's caught the eye of a lot of teams.

Aston Villa and Tottenham, two teams hoping to start pushing towards greener pastures in the months and years to come, can see its potential. In the end, they might just have to pay a fee of around €10m to get him away from the Spanish giants.

There will probably still be some convincing and there will undoubtedly be a bidding war, but it seems that the process has already begun.

Early talk suggests either could come in time for the January transfer window.
