Two teams looking for some stability in Segunda on Friday night, Granada host Albacete at Nuevo Los Carmenes.

Starting with the hosts, finally managing to extend their Copa del Rey adventure last weekend after a hard-fought 3-2 victory at Yeclano, Granada must find a way to capitalize on those positives. However, while Aitor Karanka's side may be dreaming of an immediate La Liga return this season, the former Middlesbrough boss has seen his side endure something of a recent struggle in Segunda. Last seen in the second tier, hit by a toothless 1-0 away defeat at Real Oviedo, Granada have not won any of their last three Segunda appearances. Now trying to find a way to the play-off locations, fans around Nuevo Los Carmenes will have a growing headache over their side's troubles in the final third. It should be noted that the Nasrids have managed only one second-level strike since October 13.

When it comes to the visitors, who also managed to extend their own Copa del Rey run last weekend, Albacete find themselves in a very similar position to their opponents on Friday. While Ruben Albes' side may have only made a return to Segunda over the summer, they've been undergoing something of a wobble lately. Last seen in the Second Division after an action-packed 3-2 loss at home to Levante, the former Lugo boss has recorded just one Segunda win since October 2. Simply with the aim of avoiding the drop this season, Albacete could face a tough test on Friday night. As well as scoring five goals in their consecutive Second Division appearances, it's also worth noting that Albes' men have played to a stalemate in each of their three previous encounters away from the Estadio Carlos Belmonte. p>
