A British schoolgirl left for dead after an Alpine shooting massacre that claimed the lives of her parents remembers 'the white skin and bare hands of her attacker', it has been said learned.

Zainab Al-Hilli was just seven years old when she was shot in the shoulder and struck in the head in the infamous attack almost exactly ten years ago.

She is now 16 and - according to dramatic revelations from Le Parisien newspaper over the weekend - she was interviewed at length by British detectives in June this year.

While she once recalled seeing "a mean man", Zainab has now provided more specific details that may finally help solve the cold case.

This came as sources close to the case sensationally told Le Parisien that there were three people they were treating as suspects

An Englishman was the first to spot Zainab staggering around a BMW car in remote country near Lake Annecy in eastern France on September 5, 2012.

Dead inside were his father, Saad Al-Hilli, 50, his mother Ikbal Al-Hilli, 47, and his grandmother, Suhaila Al-Allaf, 74.

All were shot dead, along with French cyclist Sylvain Mollier, a 45-year-old father of three, whose body was lying next to the car.

Zainab's four-year-old sister, Zeena Al-Halli, was later found alive and well, hidden in the back of the BMW.
