Britons spend more than two days - an average of 53 hours - a year planning their holidays, according to new research.

The findings suggest that Millions of potential holidaymakers in Britain are reluctant to press the 'book' button due to the multitude of choices on offer.< /p>

Generation Z (aged 16 to 26 years old) seems to suffer the most from indecision, devoting three days (72 hours) per year to craft trips.

Baby boomers (aged 59 to 77) plot their journey in almost half the time, but still spend almost two days per year (37 hours) planning their trips.

This procrastination, according to the study, is due to “Travel FOBO” - “the fear of better options”.
