Bronx Music Heritage Center

The Bronx Music Heritage Center (BMHC) is a community cultural center offering music, spoken word and theater in Crotona Park East, Bronx.

It was founded by WHEDco, the Women's Housing and Economic Development Corporation. This is important because women are the guardians of culture.

Bronx folklorist Elena Martinez and Grammy-nominated jazz drummer, educator, and radio host Bobby Sanabria serve as co-directors. The advisory board is full of Bronx heavyweights, including: hip-hop and salsa photographer Joe Conzo, Jr, Grandmaster Caz (Cold Crush Brothers), rapper Patty Dukes and Reph Star (Circa 95), and many more other cultural leaders.
