Brunswick, the world's largest recreational marine technology company, today announced plans to create future boats with self-docking capabilities and more.

Exhibition at CES 2023 shows that AI is making its way into every industry and every product. On top of that, Brunswick is showcasing more electric-powered sailing technologies and its designs for the helm of the future.

During CES, Brunswick will launch the first commercial model of Mercury Marine's Avator 48V electric outboard series, as well as Navico Group's new Fathom e-power system, a power management system lithium-ion battery that replaces the role of combustion engine generators to power on-board systems in marine and RV applications.

The electrification of boat engines is widespread. But it's interesting to see the extent to which Brunswick uses artificial intelligence technologies in concert with electricity and internet connectivity. One of the things it will show is how a boat can dock and stop in the middle of the process if other boats are approaching.

Brunswick will showcase its latest connectivity solutions and bring the possibilities of marine autonomy to life with a 140-degree interactive helm experience at the Las Vegas Convention Center. You'll be able to control a boat using something more like a video game controller, with a video screen and more.
