Carnival shares rose 1.2% to $9.27 in after-hours trading. NIKE, Inc. NKE on Thursday reported better than expected earnings and sales for its first quarter. However, the company reported an increase in inventory at the end of the quarter and revenue in the Greater China region was also down from a year ago. NIKE shares fell 9.4% to $86.41 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect CIRCOR International, Inc. CIR to have earned $0.31 per share on revenue of $190.90 million for the latest quarter. The company will release its results before markets open. Shares of CIRCOR rose 1.2% to close at $14.43 on Thursday.

Micron Technology, Inc. MU posted upbeat earnings for its fourth quarter, while sales beat estimates. The company also released first-quarter revenue guidance that fell short of estimates. Micron shares gained 0.1% to $50.07 in the after-hours trading session. Rent-A-Center, Inc. RCII lowered its third quarter earnings forecast and appointed Mr. Fahmi Karam as its new Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer. Shares of Rent-A-Center fell 20.3% to $17.80 in after-hours trading.
