Chelsea star warned Tuchel could 'have words with other managers' over 'childish' attitude

Christian Pulisic has been warned his 'babyish' comments could lead Thomas Tuchel to discuss the Chelsea star's conduct with other managers.

The American has described his frustration at being left out of the starting line-up for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid in 2021.

Pulisic claimed he was 'stunned' by Tuchel's decision to drop him in favor of Kai Havertz, despite Chelsea advancing to the final, in which they beat Manchester City to win their second title in the Champions League.

In his book 'Christian Pulisic: My Journey So Far' he said, "What happened before that game disappointed me enormously",

I had a very good performance in the first leg and our next game was against Fulham in the league. Tuchel told me he was resting me for the second leg and so I didn't play a single minute in the Fulham match.

‘Then on the day of the second half match, Tuchel tells me that he has changed his mind and is leaving with Kai. Honestly, I was stunned and very disappointed. I thought I deserved a start and more importantly he assured me before that I was going to start.

Pulisic ended up coming off the bench to help Mason Mount to victory, and Don Hutchinson slammed the 24-year-old for his 'groan'.

"Oh, my days! I mean, that's ridiculously naive of Christian Pulisic," Hutchinson told ESPN. so he feels like he has his say against Thomas Tuchel, but isn't he naive enough to think that Thomas Tuchel won't be happy and will have words with other managers?

“The managers change their minds. What's happening to you? what does he get out of it?

"I think that's naive of Pulisic, I don't know what he gets out of it. Shaka [Hislop, also on the ESPN panel] said about book sales, okay , that's what he gets out of it, but that's not my cup of tea. But why would you do that to a manager who might have already been at Chelsea?

"I think it destroys any relationship Tuchel will ever have with Christian Pulisic, it destroys the fact that if Thomas Tuchel had a job elsewhere he would sign Pulisic, that's not going to happen. Managers talk, I wouldn't be surprised if Thomas Tuchel or Graham Potter had a conversation, not so much about Pulisic but about the individuals in the dressing room and it just goes on and on from there."
