A 19-year-old chess grandmaster has denied using a sex toy to help him win in the game's biggest scandal in years.

Rising star Hans Niemann has been sensationally accused online of using anal beads connected to a vibrating computer program.

He is accused of using them to defeat World No. 1 grandmaster Magnus Carlsen.

The rumors escalated further when Elon Musk quoted a tweet to his 105 million followers from another user that read: "Currently obsessed with the idea that Hans Niemann was cheated in the tournament Sinquefield Cup failures using wireless anal beads that vibrate the correct movements."

Responding to internet claims, Mr. Niemann said, "If they want me to strip naked, I will.

"I don't care. Because I know I'm clean.

"You want me to play in a closed enclosure without any electronic transmission, I don't care. I'm here to win and that's my goal no matter what."

The 19-year-old chess player beat Mr. Carlsen in the Sinquefield Cup on Sunday September 4, ending his 53-game unbeaten streak.

The following day, Mr. Carlsen withdrew from the tournament in a move that shocked the chess world.

It also has an enigmatic video of José Mourinho, the Portuguese football manager, saying, "I really prefer not to talk. If I talk, I'll be in big trouble."

In an interview, Mr. Niemann said: "It must be embarrassing for the world champion to lose to an idiot like me.

"I feel bad for him."
