Child hanging from balcony rescued in China

A child hanging from the edge of a balcony in China got the superhero treatment, courtesy of his neighbor...who literally turned into Spider-Man to save the day.

Watch this video shot in the city of Foshan, located in the province of Guangdong near southern China...showing a young child who has his head stuck between two metal poles, which are the only things prevent him from going down 7 floors on the terrace of his apartment.

It's scary - the boy has most of his body hanging over the edge... as he tries desperately to get back on the balcony, to no avail. People are watching from below and seem to call for help, which came in the form of a quick-witted benefactor.

It appears that a man living nearby jumps out of his patio door, then walks over to where the child is... who then begins to push him back through the bars. The camera pans out a bit, and when it refocuses, you see a woman, presumably a family member, on the other side of the door trying to help get the child back inside safely. security.

Their efforts eventually work, and the boy is slipped inside without harm. The neighbor then begins to slide towards his unit - it doesn't seem like he can just jump the door or get in easily, so he had to backtrack the long (and dangerous) way.

China is known for its high-rise apartments... which are usually stacked quite close together...
