Chuck Lorre and his wife Arielle Lorre will separate

Chuck Lorre, the producer of 'The Big Bang Theory', 'Two and a Half Men' and many other TV hits, has separated from his wife of nearly four years, Arielle Lorre.

The two wed in September 2018. Arielle Lorre is a lifestyle influencer known for her active Instagram and YouTube presence focused on health and wellness. The couple confirmed their split in a joint statement to Variety.

"It is with mutual consideration and respect that we have decided to part ways. Our plan is to move forward in different directions but with much love, admiration and gratitude for the time we have shared We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your support,” the statement read.

Chuck Lorre ranks among Hollywood's most successful producers and is among the most prolific television producers of the past four decades. His other sitcom credits include ABC's "Dharma & Greg," "Cybill," "Mom" and "Mike and Molly." He earned back-to-back Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series for his Netflix comedy "The Kominsky Method" starring Michael Douglas.

Arielle Lorre is the host of "The Blonde Files" podcast. She established herself as one of the first influencers who became known thanks to her voice on Instagram.

In June, Chuck Lorre spoke to Variety about his long career in television and his love of the craft.

"I love that all of the work is sustainable," he said. “I had no intention of doing Kleenex. We all decided to make silk handkerchiefs that you can wash and reuse. And I love that, once in a while, I'll watch a rerun of "Two and a Half Men" when (co-starring) Angus [T. Jones] was really small, and there were things I had completely forgotten."
