Compelling trailer for new wine documentary 'Eastbound Westbound'

Trois Pins Trailer

There is another wine documentary to watch this year, titled Eastbound Westbound: A Winemaker's Story - From Bordeaux and California, examining the connections between Bordeaux in France and California winemakers in America . This has already aired at a few wine film festivals earlier this year. This project, started in 2020, was carried by four charismatic Bordeaux wine families, main actors of this film, appearing as themselves in this opus. Eastbound Westbound is a modern and fast-paced cinematic documentary about wine, conceived as an investigation between France and the United States, tracing the historical and unbreakable links between the United States and the wines of Bordeaux! It is a friendship that we owe to Thomas Jefferson. He was ambassador to France before becoming the third president of the United States… The film offers a recreation sequence dating back to the 1700s showing how wine was made then. It looks like a must-have watch for all oenophiles. Or anyone who appreciates the meeting of two cultures.
