Conor McKerr: Kent signs pacemaker from Surrey on loan for County Championship climax
The 24-year-old right-arm fast bowler will be available for struggling Kent's final two matches in Hampshire from Monday, then at home against Somerset.
McKerr is a former South Africa international under 19 year old who won 44 wickets in 17 first class matches.
He became the youngest bowler in the Derbyshire to take 10 wickets in a game during a loan spell in 2017.
Kent are at Level on points with second-bottom Warwickshire in Division One and eight points adrift of Somerset, with all three sides looking to avoid joining lower Gloucestershire – who look doomed – in Division Two next season.
