LV= County Championship Division Two, Seat Unique Stadium, Bristol (day two) Durham 445: Clark 100, from Leede 65, Coughlin 59*, Borthwick 53; Zafar 4-130 Gloucestershire 255-9: Charlesworth 71, Harris 52; Patel 5-93Gloucestershire (3 pts) Durham Trail (4 pts) by 190 points Match scoreboard weighed in at 2-35 as Gloucestershire were down to 255-9 in response to Durham 445's imposing first leg.

Marcus Harris and Ben Charlesworth offered plenty of challenge contributing half a century of struggling as the hosts advanced 139-2, only to suffer a collapse alarming in the last session, losing seven wickets for 88 runs.

Gloucestershire still need 41 more runs to avoid the possibility of being forced to call.

Potts retired Chris Dent lbw with a ball that returned in the left-hander and was intended to hit the upper middle and leg with the score out of 10.

Harris was out for 52, caught late by a faster delivery from Patel and Miles Hammond and Jack Taylor came and went quickly.

Hammond lost his stump to Ben Raine without offering a hit and going for 21 and Taylor was tossed between bat and pad by Patel after hitting two fours and a six in a brief inning of 16.

Relegated one place in the order due to joint captain and goalkeeper charges from the wicket, James Bracey left with undue haste, making 14 before playing across the line to a Potts swinger and offering a catch on the second slide as the hosts went from 139-2 to 189-5 either side of the tea interval.

Charlesworth raised his second 50 in as many 134 innings...
