The opener Organ finished the Royal London Cup with a 54 in the semi-final against the Kent Spitfires, having scored 72, 118, 41 and 65 in his last four league matches.

He also almost single-handedly helped his club team, Winchester-based St Cross Symmondians, win the title ECB Southern Premier League on Saturday with a masterful 135, in addition to four wickets.

Against Northamptonshire he put 50 positions with Joe Weatherley and Nick Gubbins to bring Hampshire to 229-5 in the end - ave c Jack White claiming 2-35.

Organ started the batting seas at number seven, in the team primarily for their fourth-inning out-of-rotation option.
