After the Pears totaled 390, Notts was eliminated for 128, then dropped to 129-6 the second time around as 19 wickets fell on day two.

Haseeb Hameed has the top score for Notts in both sets, making 37 and 58.

Gareth Roderick had already completed his first century Pears at New Road.

After taking over 297-7, the Pears continued for most of the morning to add an extra 93 runs.

Roderick was out for 102 straight after reaching his century, his second in successive tonnes after a career-best 172 steps against Glamorgan, surpassing his previous record of 98 at New Road, for Gloucestershire against the Pears in 2014.

Dillon Pennington then dispatched Liam Patterson-White to midwicket and Ben Gibbon was taken deep to leave Josh Tongue undefeated on a best 45 in career.

Notts quickly lost Ben Slater before lunch, threw center stump past Ed Barnard - with the best of the season - and Dillon Pennington picked up four wickets apiece as Notts bundled up in the afternoon session.
