Dabbsson has raised $75 million to power a decentralized home energy ecosystem using AI technologies and electric vehicles.

The company will use the funding to bring smarter, safer and greener home energy innovations to environmentally conscious consumers.

This winter, with a cold front sweeping across the United States, an estimated 25% of Americans are at risk of power outages and grid emergencies due to extreme cold and extreme weather. Traditional centralized power grids remain highly fragile, unreliable, expensive and wasteful, with outdated infrastructure vulnerable to simple single points of failure and the volatility of global gas, coal and oil markets.

Consumers also face ever-rising costs, increased pollution and waste, inability to access essential services, and an overall reduced quality of life.

Dabbsson raised $75 million.

This dire reality has made backup generators essential for many, with a growing focus on renewable energy sources to further reduce fossil fuel dependence and combat climate change. Although consumers are willing to pay more for sustainable or socially responsible alternatives, barriers to adoption such as convenience, availability, and ease of use persist.

This is where Dabbsson is looking to disrupt the market by bringing decentralized clean energy to the masses. Dabbson focuses on high performance, safety and flexibility for portable regenerative power stations, solar panels and accessories. The company seeks to restore energy independence and consumer resilience through an app-controlled, AI-enabled home microgrid.

"We are excited to lead a new era of home energy autonomy and resilience, powered by a new ecosystem of smart renewable micro-energy," said Sam Lam, head of global markets at Dabbsson, in a statement. “Energy self-sufficiency and resilience underpins everything that fuels a vibrant and thriving community – from economic empowerment and social equity to education and access to essential services. It's time to reduce our collective reliance on fragile traditional systems and embracing the power of distributed energy."

The Dabbsson team has led R&D for nearly a decade in on-board charging systems for electric vehicles, with more than 80 patents in new energy storage systems...
