Damar Hamlin posts first Instagram since chilling collapse on the pitch

Damar Hamlin's health has thankfully improved dramatically...so much so, in fact, that the guy is active on social media again...and his message is one of gratitude and thanks.

The safety of Bills - who has been receiving treatment in a hospital for several days now, following his horrific collapse on the pitch - has been sent to IG for the first time since the life-threatening incident. He compiled photos of himself, apparently from the fateful day in question.

The last slide of his 4-photo post shows a quote the doctors told him when he finally woke up and was talking to himself. It was the line "you won", which resonated with him.

Damar adds, "When you put true love into the world, it comes back to you 3 times as much. me and we reached out. We brought the world together behind it all. If you know me, you know that only makes me stronger. On a long road, keep praying for me!"

His post comes on the heels of his team providing another encouraging update on his condition. They said he was making continued progress, but remained in intensive care, noting he was breathing unassisted and his neurological function was excellent.
